Self-proclaimed band geek and computer nerd throughout high school, 2Beeps spent most weekends going to LAN parties and raves. Electronic music was a magnet for him, and the new sounds and musical ideas being generated were infectious. After earning a degree in Music Production, he set his eyes firmly on New York City to make his mark.

Working as an audio engineer in New York allowed 2Beeps to be close to audio while still giving him the flexibility to make the music he loved. “My job had nothing to do with music; it was recording dialogue for children’s books and was totally mind-numbing. But it let me focus my passion on music, and when I’d get frustrated or bored, I’d just whip up some fat bassline and turn the headphones up.”

Working on the same floor as his studio, 2Beeps met dance music veteran MING from Ming & FS fame. The two hit it off immediately. “MING looks like some kind of bald alien when you first meet him. But then he starts talking about music and his energy and passion just pour out of him. He has a cutthroat business acumen and his ear is freakin’ perfect.”

The two hit it off with a string of electro house thrashers and pop remixes. From here the sky is wide open, and leading producers and labels are paying close attention to hear what comes next.
